The Han-Stand is well constructed and easy to put together. I would give it 5 stars as to how it operates. I put the water system in by myself this year so was unable to manually fill the intake hose with water. No problem! 3 primes of the pump and away she went. This was about a 7 foot lift. The pump motor was quieter than with a brass foot valve. With the brass valve when the pump hits 50 psi and turns off, the pressure drops to 48. With the Han- stand, it stayed at 50. The filter sock does a great job of stopping any sand getting into the system.
